We start with medical grade Type 304 Stainless Steel – if you’ve ever bought kitchen knives, the steel quality and Rockwell Hardness (RC) matter. Utilizing high quality steel ensures our product won’t rust, bend, or wear easily. That’s the Metal Kard Quality Guarantee.
We start with raw sheets of virgin stainless steel. Then we cut, print and etch (engrave) your cards to order. We brilliantly plate the cards in the color of your choosing, like our luxurious Matte Black and Brushed Gunmetal Black Metal, for a durable sheen only Real Metal can get. Black metal card finishes in the same quality as antique hardware, and executive black metal credit cards.
Printing with ultra-fine silkscreen, we use an enamel paint made for metal, mixed in vibrant colors. The combination of processes we’ve developed ensure heavy duty, wear-resistant metal business cards nobody can compete with.

This service is for clients printing with Metal Kards, and is discounted solely for our production purposes. Metal Card Design package does not include custom logo or illustration creation, but we will convert your logo to vector (complexity within reasonable tracing time) and we can clean it up for minor changes. Please note, service does not include release of art files or physical card production for base price, options available for additional charge.
Like tools or kitchen knives, there is a huge difference in steel types, treatments, and quality out there. We use new, type 304 Stainless; a surgical grade steel known for it’s strength and resilience – you can tell us apart from our competitors by the weight and resistance to bending. Accept no imitation.
Our standard etching process cuts into the card surface precisely, for a striking debossed look, included FREE. We can add Laser Etching which marks the surface showing the silver of stainless steel. Cut Outs, from the card shape to accurate logo die cuts and more also are included FREE!
We include standard etching “engraving” free which cuts into the card ~10%. We can add Deep Etching to cut in ~50% (deeper on thicker cards). Frosted Etch is random like coarse sandpaper without the grit; Prism Etch is a uniform dot pattern in a luxury knurled look.
Durable enamel inks make the difference – when other companies may scratch and flake, MetalKards™ uses only the best “made for metal” screenprint inks and ultra-fine screens for detailed quality. We use the Pantone Matching System® (PMS) for spot color silkscreen, or we can print in Full Color CMYK for gradients, photos and more.
Add a special look and sheen with metallic inks in gold, bronze, and silver. We can use these for printing a brilliant metallic ink that has a sparkle similar to glitter in the inks – etch+fill or variable printing will give your cards that extra special bit of pizzazz.
If you want a variation of names and numbers like #001 – #100 or Employees and Titles (CEO, CFO, etc.) we can do that! We’ll specialty laser etch, which shows the silver of the stainless steel, or we can silkscreen print in the color of your choice – anything under the rainbow!
