We combined quality design and print production, with metal fabrication. Our first metal business card project was in the 90’s; it was a nearly impossible idea. The company that came to us, an auto parts machinist sponsoring a local event – wanted a metal card as a promo giveaway with a car-paint like finish. Technology like waterjet (cutting with pressurized H2O) and laser engraving were creating new possibilities, with the computer aiding everything. Plasma cutting, CAD files output to CNC and later 3D printing in metal.

From that first project, we noticed how long people held onto metal business cards. It was a really good idea. They were always a conversation piece, a complete work of art.
